Chayal Boded is Home
This painting represents a lone Israeli soldier davening by the Western Wall. Though this soldier's family is across seas, he always finds comfort in homecoming when he prays closest to Hashem's home.
Mini Mediterranea
This painting represents a blend of European and Middle Eastern cultures, colors, cuisine, and countryside. I depicted the desertous terrain along with the mountainous countryside, with cities built into the mountains and our spiritual pillar the Western Wall.
The Fire Within
This painting depicts a person holding their hands up towards the sky, wearing a colorful cloak, and the Breslev Trademarked Ha-Esh Sheli Logo as its focal point. The Breslev Logo represents Chassidus mind processes which is why it can be perceived as the person's head, hair, and beard. The colorful cloak represents the 70 Facets of the Torah which are the tools that help us connect to Hashem. They are all different, but when the colorful strokes come together, they form the most beautiful armor. The hands held up toward the sky represent our dependence on Hashem and how we trust that everything He gives us is exactly what we need.
7.10.5784
This painting represents the terror that occurred on October 7th, 5784. The painting portrays many different layers of emotions that came with finding out the news. The center depicts the Gaza-Israeli Border, where the gate was torn down and mass murder occurred at the Nova Festival and surrounding settlements/ Kibbutzim. The blue strips, below and above the center represent the blue stripes on the Israeli flag. I believe these two blue strips represent the splitting of water which occurred on the second day of creation, of the sky and the sea. I feel it represents our ability to perceive only the things within the world, encompassed under the sky and above the sea. The outermost levels remind us of our spiritual ties and deeper understanding of our purpose in this world. The bottom layer represents the humbling realization that we are mortal and this physical life is not infinite. The top layer represents the built Biet Hamikdash (3rd Temple) during the coming Messianic times.
Na-Nach Truck
The Na-Nach Truck painting was inspired by the colorful experience of spontaneous Simcha in the streets of Eretz Yisrael. In this critical time, Achdut/ True Unity and Integration is the main goal of the Jewish people. The Breslev Na-Nach Trucks in Israeli have had a history of bringing all different types of Jews, from varying walks of life, together to celebrate joyfully. This painting is supposed to evoke the feeling of true unity in our hopeful present.
Beit Hamikdash 3
This art piece was inspired by the coming days of Mashiach. The Center depicts the Holy of Holies in the 3rd Beit Hamikdash. The Colorful figures circling around represent all different types of Jews partaking in the reinauguration of Hashem as our Ultimate King.
